The Predator Deterrent.
This unit is life size and works fundamentally on the basis of fear. The unique combination of sound and movement guarantees its success in all locations. When inflated, it stands at a commanding height with arms outstretched. The required number of inflations in each sequence is adjustable as is the frequency, the body deflates and re-inflates giving the impression of someone jumping up and down.
This is incorporated with a siren that is independently switched as is the light for night time use. This affords you the opportunity to use the unit both night and day with or without the audible deterrent of a siren. The illuminated night time use has proved invaluable against predators such as Owl and Fox.
With a photocell light sensor, it can be set to come on at first light and go off automatically at dusk. It has, day setting, night setting and day and night setting, the inflation can be set from twenty seconds to approximately twenty five minutes.
Set at, three repatitions and twenty minute intervals, a fully charged battery should last approximatel three weeks without the need to do anything other than listen from time to time confirming its continued operation.
An electronically operated, inflatable scarecrow, that can be operated during daylight, or through the hours of darkness.
Includes: flashing light and siren on inflation, both independently switched to best suit your requirements.
Battery operated (no mains required) can be operated in all locations and readily accepted by your poults.
We are quite within our rights to protect what is ours, provided that, it is done strictly within the law, unacceptable is it to simply release more birds to compensate for the losses, all we achieve is to supply the glut of food that perpetuates the original problem.
Have you ever seen a land fill site without Seagulls? NO!
Nor shall you see pheasant pens without predators, the two are inextricably linked and to suggest (as some of the leading bodies do) that we just load our pens to accomodate is incomprehensible.
We must remember that, four legs or two wings, they are only doing what they have always done to survive.
Given that we supply their perceived food scource it is incumbent upon us to deal with the problem as best we can.
