Available in six models with a choice of reticles, the Viper PSTs are built on one-piece 30mm tubes machined from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum for optimum strength and rigidity-and ample room for extreme range elevation adjustment.
Second Focal Plane
Second Focal Plane offers constant ideal reticle size for precision aiming. Each reticle features Vortex''''s unique subtension multiplier markings to allow accurate use of reticle subtensions at multiple magnification levels. Reticle subtensions for the Viper PST are accurate at the scopes highest magnification and the subtension multiplier markings permit quick conversions of subtensions at lower magnifications without compromising accuracy. This unique feature solves the major shortcoming of second focal plane ranging reticles used for long distance precision shooting.

The Viper PST is built on a precision machined one piece aircraft grade aluminum tube protected by a type 3 hard anodized finish. The large diameter 30mm tube provides additional strength band rigidity, as well as extra room for extreme range elevation adjustments. The construction is 100% waterproof, dustproof and fogproof- purged with argon gas to prevent internal fogging and corrosion. Finally, all lenses are optically indexed and locked in place with machined locking rings to maintain precise optical alignment after years of rough handling and high recoil. Yes, the Viper PST is built for extreme use in the harshest conditions, while delivering consistent, dependable accuracy and performance in situations when failure is simply not an option.
Easily Viewed Adjustment
All critical adjustments can be made from the shooting position with clearly visible raised MagView magnification designations with a fiber optic indicator, illumination knob and target style turrets.
Customizable Rotational Stop (CRS)
CRS (Customizable Rotational Stop) system prevents turret from travelling more than one revolution below sight-in zero. After the rifle is sighted in, the design of the CRS allows a shooter to quickly and easily return to an original zero point after using the elevation to dial in temporary bullet drop corrections.
